I love these boots but in recent years had assumed that their classic look didn't really mesh with my evolution towards a more modern, minimal style. Plus black skinnies and a slouchy tee, though, these boots are experiencing a major renaissance in my wardrobe.

Meet my one foot tall ginger snuggle bug, Mack

While my furry bubs is the sweetest, his unsolicited attempts to assist in my photo taking get in the way sometimes. In retrospect, a black cat probably would have been the way to go. But it's true what they say -- you don't get to choose who you love. (Those snow shoes, tho.)

P.S. Orange bubsie + Blood Orange makes for a sweet post, right? Majorly swooning over this track from his sophomore-ish LP.
